Our Work

Programs & Initiatives

At NCFF, early childhood care and education support has been one of our priorities since our inception in 1997. Our Board of Directors’ recognizes that child development in the early years is of primary importance when focusing on prevention measures. They also understand, from decades of research, that early experiences and environments in a child’s life help shape their future learning capacity and ability to enter school prepared to learn.

At NCFF, we are committed to bringing people together to achieve the best results for children and families, and we are looking forward to doing just that with the Early Childhood Coalition.

Nebraska Early Childhood Coalition

The Nebraska Early Childhood Coalition was established in 2005 for the purpose of developing a statewide unified voice for early childhood and to set the content and direction for early childhood care and education policy in the State of Nebraska.

Our goal is to build and strengthen the coalition so that individuals interested in affecting early childhood policy can come together to set the direction for action. The NCFF policy team is responsible for leading the coalition activities.
