Readiness/Engagement Tools
How ready is your community to create or improve a Community Prevention System? The two tools below are designed to help answer this question.
One tool is a Community Collaborative Readiness Inventory - designed to create a description of the community’s demographics as well as a description of the collaborative. The goal of the Readiness Inventory is to provide a complete picture of the community and the community collaboration to inform the development of a broad prevention system.
The other tool is a Collective Impact Readiness Inventory - designed to assess the present status of the community collaboration across the five main conditions for Collective Impact. It should inform areas to develop.
Staff or consultants with Nebraska Children may be available to help facilitate the Readiness Inventory and efforts to increase readiness in specific areas as identified by the inventory. The completed Readiness Inventory should also be useful for grant applications and planning future activities.
