Nebraska Children Events

Bring Up Nebraska partners are proud to celebrate the successes of this prevention collaborative, promoting local community partnerships to establish hope and opportunities for children, youth, families to thrive. Governor Pete Ricketts and First Lady Susanne Shore will be on hand to help celebrate the amazing work and successes of the community-based prevention efforts.

April 13
12:00-1:15 pm: Luncheon - Hyatt Place

1:30-4:45 pm: Conference sessions - Hyatt Place

5:15-6:00 pm: Social hour - Hyatt Place

6:00-7:30 pm: Dinner at hotel and presentation - Hyatt Place
Casey Family Programs, the nation’s largest operating foundation, will award the communities involved in Bring Up Nebraska with the Jim Casey Building Communities of Hope Award.

April 14:
Breakfast at hotel (on own)

8:30 am - 11:00 am: Meeting - Hyatt Place

11:30 am: Check-out (lunch on own)

For community collaboratives only:
A block of hotel rooms has been reserved at the Hyatt Place, 600 Q Street in Lincoln. Communities will be reimbursed for 2 hotel rooms on the 13th. Any additional rooms needed will need to be paid for by the collaborative. Call (402) 742-6007 or use this link to make your reservation. For those traveling more than 100 miles, Nebraska Children will also reimburse mileage for 2 vehicles per team.
