Domain 5 Coach Booster: Coaching for Equity
Coaching for Equity is an approach to build self-awareness and understanding of our own individual culture and identities and to recognize and honor the culture and lived experiences of those we serve.
Join us as we learn and explore what coaching for equity looks like. Let’s explore meaningful ways to reach an individualized, equitable outcome for each coachee you work with.
❖ Participants will be invited to learn and explore equity in a safe space.
❖ Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the origins of inequities.
❖ Participants will learn various terminology related to Coaching for Equity.
❖ Participants will be introduced to tools that will help build self-awareness so that we can know and understand how we show up in the coaching relationship.
❖ Participants will learn and consider the concept of equity in the coaching initiatives they work in.
❖ Participants will consider how to build more educational and community equity through relationships with coachees and programs.
❖ Participants will gain foundational knowledge about ways to collaborate with other coaches by connecting authentically and building meaningful partnership alliances.
