Together, Better

"Together, Better," led by Nebraska Children and Families Foundation, is a collaborative effort to create well-being for children and their families through education. This initiative aims to improve well-being, success in school, transitions between grades and school buildings, and alignment within systems.

Together, Better will focus on place-based education or using the local community as a starting point to teach language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, and other concepts. Emphasizing hands-on, real-world learning experiences, this approach to education increases academic achievement, helps students develop stronger ties to their community, enhances students’ appreciation for the natural world, and creates a heightened commitment to serving as active, contributing citizens.

Through collaboration with partners at every level, this initiative will drive systems-level change, creating an environment where every individual can thrive and reach their full potential.
