Carol Russell
Carol is a professional volunteer and former cancer study manager. She is highly involved in the community, working with the Nebraska Community Foundation, Prevent Blindness Nebraska, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Assistance League, Uta Hallee, and Community Alliance, among others.
Carol earned a bachelor’s degree in Zoology and Chemistry from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a master’s degree in Pathology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is married to Rick Russell, President of Millard Lumber.
A resident of Omaha, Carol has served on the Foundation board since 2002.
