Brandi Gales
Brandi Gales joined Nebraska Children's Sixpence team in August 2024. She was born on the island of Oahu in Hawaii but has lived most of her life in Omaha. Brandi and her husband, Cameron, have three children.
Brandi attended Creighton University in Omaha for undergrad and earned a master's degree in early childhood education with a focus on public policy and advocacy from Walden U. She has been in the early childhood field for about 12 years and has done everything from owning an in-home childcare, teaching at all levels, being a coach, a supervisor and a trainer. She also teaches early childhood courses at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Most recently Brandi was the Mentor Teacher for 15 teachers in 5 Sixpence classrooms. She absolutely loved every minute of her work with those teachers and children, ensuring they were giving/receiving high-quality education, and is excited to be part of systems-level change across the state.
