Ivan Young
Ivan Young has worked as a professional writer and editor for over 20 years. He has been a senior production editor for the journal division of Haworth Press, a freelance copy editor for the U.S. Naval Institute Press and the University of South Carolina Press, and has worked in various editorial capacities for three national literary journals, including Prairie Schooner and Yemassee. As a writer, he has published marketing and web content for Conversion Giant and Blue Frog, academic and personal essays, fiction, and two books of poetry. He holds a Ph.D. in English from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from University of South Carolina, and a B.S. in Zoology from Clemson University.
