Kelita Svoboda Bak
Kelita joined Nebraska Children in 2024 in the role of Vice President of Philanthropy.
Originally from Nebraska, Kelita's educational journey took her from Lincoln High School to Washington, D.C., where she pursued degrees at both American University and George Washington University. Kelita resided and worked in D.C. for over 20 years before relocating to Minnesota and then Michigan. She decided to return to Lincoln to be closer to family and friends.
Her professional background includes roles at Youth Service America, Camp Fire, National Youth Leadership Council, Academy of Sacred Heart (a school for infants through grade 12), and CEDARS Home for Children Foundation.
Outside of work, Kelita enjoys traveling and hiking with her husband, as well as spending quality time with friends and family.
