Patricia Sanchez-Stewart
Patricia Sanchez-Stewart joined Nebraska Children and the Beyond School Bells team in September 2024. Patricia is the Assistant Vice President of ELO Community Support and Innovations and excited to be back in the work of afterschool programming!
Originally from Lexington, Nebraska, Patricia served as the Project Director for 18 years to the school district's 21st Century Community Learning Center schools. Her passion for programming can be traced back to my experience working with schools as the Extension Assistant for UNL Extension, where she served children, youth and adults in the areas of leadership development and life skill development.
Before starting at Nebraska Children, Patricia enjoyed working with families here in Lincoln, with early intervention through Lincoln Public School’s Early Development Network.
She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a bachelor's degree in Social Work. During her time at UNK, she had the privilege of being the first cohort of AmeriCorps members in Nebraska. It is through this program that Patricia was given the opportunity to develop and implement programs that impacted children and youth.
Patricia looks forward to working with communities throughout the state in helping them provide quality and innovative extended learning opportunities.
