Sara Weber
Sara Weber is an Assistant Vice President for Early Childhood Mental Health at Nebraska Children and has been with the Rooted in Relationship team since July 2023. In her role, Sara collaborates with community partners across the state of Nebraska to help develop early childhood systems that support the social and emotional health of children 8 and younger.
Prior to working with Nebraska Children, Sara worked as a Child Care Health Consultant helping childcare centers improve health and safety in their facilities. Sara also worked as a Health Coordinator with an Early Head Start/Educare in the Kansas City, Kansas area working to improve health outcomes for both the children and families enrolled in the program.
Sara has a bachelor’s in public health and a master’s degree in social work, both from the University of Kansas. Sara also holds a certification as a health education specialist. Sara lives in Lincoln, is married, and has a daughter and son.
