Once assessment and planning been completed, the next phase is implementing the strategies and interventions that will comprise the prevention system. Implementation involves all the steps needed to put prevention and promotion strategies and interventions into place and make them available to children, youth and families.
Important implementation considerations in this phase include:
- Developing Communications strategies for partners and outreach
- Obtaining Resources such as staff, equipment, or vendor contracts to provide programs and services
- Establishing data and informatics systems for continuous quality improvement
Before implementing any strategies, the basic collaborative structure and evaluation plan should be developed.
